Choc-a-Bloc Cookies
As a teacher, I like to surprise my students with a last lesson treat. This year I made cookies, but not just ANY cookies. I wanted these cookies to be gutsy, bold and shamelessly vibrant. I wanted them to scream overindulgence and Christmas excess. Each learner would only get one cookie, so I might as well make that cookie exceptional!

Balloon Bats-and-Ball
Use large ice-cream sticks, paper plates and balloons to create an up-cycled version of the ever-popular ‘Bats-and-ball’ game for your children. The lightness of the balloon will slow the game down, thus making it suited to youngsters, even toddlers!

Cupcake craft
Here are a few images of some of the cupcakes I have made and decorated.
I know I should probably stick to decorating all of one batch in the same style, but I have too much fun and end up giving each cupcake its own, individual character!

Tomboy Cheese Straws
Pretty to look at, but packing a punch!
Don’t let the dainty look of these fool you, with a hint of cayenne pepper and paprika they really offer a snappy bite.
One of my family’s favorite year-round nibbles.
