Sweetiepie Frosting

Ingredient

2 egg whites

200ml castor sugar

30ml honey

40ml water

Pinch of cream of tartar

Food colouring of choice

 

Method

Beat all ingredients together in a bowl over a pot of boiling water (do not let the bowl touch the boiling water).

Beat until soft peak stage (at least for 5 mins so egg whites are cooked)

Move over to electric mixer for final beating stage – beat until medium peak stage

Place in piping bag and voila!  Beautiful velvety meringue topping!

 

p.s. Add a drop of food colouring if you want!
